Gilbert de Umfraville (fl.c.1140-90)

Biography
Gilbert de Umfraville was the son of Robert de Umfraville (d.c.1145). He had an elder brother, Odinel (d.c.1166), whom he succeeded and acquired Prudhoe and Redesdale in Northumberland. Gilbert was constable of Prince Henry (d.1152), and was later constable William the Lion before he became king of Scotland. Gilbert died between 1175 and the 1190s.
