Hugh, bishop of St Andrews (d.1188)

Biography
Watt and Murray, Fasti, 378-9: Hugh was a royal chaplain of William I when he was nominated as bishop of St Andrews, though the election was highly contested by John Scot at the papal curia. He acted as bishop of St Andrews on 15 March 1187. He was deposed of his office by the pope on or before 16 January 1188, and died at Rome on 4 August 1188.
