Description: Geoffrey de Malevin has given, granted and by this his charter established to Dunfermline Abbey the church of Melville (MLO) in perpetual alms with its pertinents, and with the land that he assigned to the church in dedication, for the souls of King David and Malcolm ‘junior’, for providing a light in front of the tombs of the aforesaid kings.
