Walter son of Alan, steward of the king of Scotland, has granted and by this his charter established to Kelso Abbey the agreement which they made with his knights, namely Robert of Kent and the others (i.e. Robert Hunaud and Roland, son-in-law of Nicholas de Côtentin) concerning the land, forest, pasture and other easements in the territory of Innerwick (ELO) just as the charters composed between them contain and just as the charter of Alan, his father, testifies.
