Roger, bishop of St Andrews (d.1202)

Biography
Watt and Murray, Fasti, 379: The third son of Robert de Breteuil, 3rd earl of Leicester, Roger was a royal chancellor before he was elected to the bishopric of St Andrews on 13 April 1189. He may have used the surname 'de Beaumont' and was apparently underage for a bishop when first elected, though he reached thirty before his consecration on 15 February 1198. He died at Cambuskenneth Abbey on 7 July 1202. Roger was a kinsman (cognatus) of King William I. (Chron. Mel.)
