Watt and Murray, Fasti, 197: Solomon was not yet dean of Glasgow when he appears 1160×; he occurs as dean on 7 March 1161 and 25 March 1173. He probably was demitted 23 May 1174×2 June 1175. Solomon was a clerk and chaplain of Bishop Herbert of Glasgow. He had a son called John.
