Description
Walter son of Alan, steward of the King of Scotland, for the soul of Robert de Brus, has relaxed in perpetuity to Paisley Abbey all rent that they owed him for the mill of Paisley. He wills that they may hold and possess that mill with its full suit in pure and perpetual alms, with multure of the Rass and of Blackhall (RNF), and of all other lands pertaining to it. Moreover, he has given and granted to Paisley Abbey six chalders of flour annually from the rents of Inchinnan (RNF), until the death of Ralph the chaplain, who in his lifetime holds that ploughgate of Hillington, which he gave them in exchange for his land of Innerwick (ELO), for which exchange he has their charter and they have his charter.
