Description
Robert, king of Scots, because of his devotion to Saint Cuthbert and his monastery of Durham, he has given Durham Cathedral Priory five stags annually from his forest of Selkirk, delivered by his chief forester, for the feast of the translation of St Cuthbert; the said stags are to be taken on the Assumption of the B.V.M. and carried by the said forester to the priory of Coldingham.
