Roger, abbot of Newbattle (d.1256)

Biography: Watt and Shead, Heads, 160: Roger was a cellarer of Melrose when he succeeded as abbot of Newbattle in 1236. He died at Vaudey Abbey (Lincolnshire) on 3 December 1256. (He died after 27 January 1256 (NS), Fraser, Menteith, no.3)
