Description
Robert, king of Scots, commands his chamberlain of Scotland to make the annual payment on the two customary terminals to the prioress and nuns of Haddington all the renders and pennies that justly were accustomed to be due from the king's burgh ferme of Haddington (ELO) in the time of Lord Alexander [III] king of Scotland his predecessor; and to allocate this payment in his accounts. He also commands and instructs the chamberlain to pay the teinds of his mills of Haddington to the same prioress and nuns which they had in the time of the said king and which they were wont to receive by the collation or concession of the late Richard, bishop of St Andrews, via the fermers of the said mills.
