- Description
- Robert, king of Scots, to his grieves and his baillies of his burgh of Aberdeen. He instructs them that John son of Laurence and his spouse Mariota daughter of the late Brice of Craigie have full right by reason of the said spouse to a perch of land within the burgh of Aberdeen on the eastern side of Gallowgate between the land that was the late William Ficthet's on the south and the land that was the late Reginald of Grendon's on the north, rendering to the king and his heirs 6d, namely 3d. on Pentecost and 3d. on Martinmas, and rendering to the friars of the order of Trinity of Aberdeen 6s. 8d. annually, half on Pentecost and half on Martinmas. Which perch of land Emma daughter of the said late Brice of Craigie unjustly deforced them as they say.
