Description
Inquisition at St Andrews on Tuesday next after the Feast of St Edward, 31st year [19 Mar. 1303], before Sir John of Cambo, lieutenant of Sir Richard Siward, sheriff of Fife, by Maurice de Moretorb, Adam of Kinninmonth, John Monipenny, John Lambie, John de Lascelles, John Godisman, Gilbert Lambie, Richard Mar, Andrew Malmodan, Pady Brennuhi, John Picard, Walter Beverage, Adam de Halidi, who say that William, father of Juliana is dead, and held the land of Burchly of the bishop of St Andrews, paying 10s. yearly, or doing the office of baker in the bishop’s household. The extent of the land is 5 marks yearly. The said Juliana is of age and daughter and heir of William who was seised in feu and did service to the king for half a davoch. The said Juliana is heir of Adam Marischal in half of the land of Nydie by his assignation. The whole rendering the service of a davoch and is held of the bishop. The half is worth 3 marks.
