Description
The king makes known that because he has learned though an inquisition, which he had made by his sheriff of Berwick that he is able to give as he wishes, without injury, the land with pertinents in Foulden (BWK), which belonged to Richard of Coldingham, a rebel and the king’s enemy, which fell into his hands on account of Richard’s rebellion, he has given and granted them to his serviens, Andrew the Cryer, for his faithful service, to have for his lifetime rendering 8d. to the king’s exchequer at Berwick annually, half at Easter and half at Michaelmas.
