- Description
- John of Denmuir has given, granted, and by this his present charter established to Adam son of Christina of Lumbennie, his niece, for his homage and service, all his land of Nether Lumbennie (Newburgh parish, FIF) at feuferme with all its pertinents, having and holding in feu and heritage by its right bounds, with all liberties and easements, with common pasture of the land of Upper Lumbennie (FIF) and with free and reasonable and insufficient entry and exit, rendering one pair of gilt spurs or 12d. annually on the feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul, saving to John and his heirs the use of the peatary of Nether Lumbenny, and making forinsec Scottish service to the lord king as pertains to the land of Nether Lumbenny. He also wills and grants that Adam will be free from suit at his court.
