Boniface VIII writes to the noblemen [John Comyn and Robert Bruce], guardians of the realm of Scotland, noting the appointment by apostolic power of David, then canon of Moray, to the church of Moray, and thus commands the guardians to restore to him the goods and rights of the diocese and to look on him favourably.
