Description
Hervey of Dundee, clerk [and] canon of Glasgow, for the salvation of his soul, gave, granted and by this his present charter established to Balmerino Abbey his house, with the garden, which he recently took action to build, [which] lies opposite the house of the monks of Coupar Angus that is situated between the land of Hervey, called Lamby, to the west, and the other land of the same Hervey to the east, which house Hervey of Dundee confers to them and their successors in perpetuity, saving to himself the right to inhabit [the land] while he lives.
