Description
Alan son of Walter, steward of the king of Scotland, donates and grants, and by this his charter establishes to Paisley Abbey in free and perpetual alms, for the welfare of his lord King William, that land of Moniabrock in Strathgryfe (RNF), with the same bounds by which Robert Crock and Henry of Ness and William son of ‘Maidi’, with other responsible men, perambulated them by his precept, stated herein. Moreover, he grants that they construct and have a half fishery in the exit of the loch of Lochwinnoch (RNF), and he grants liberty to fish in that loch.
