Description
Robert of London has granted and given and by this his charter established to Dryburgh Abbey in free, pure and perpetual alms, the church of Lessudden (ROX) with all its pertinents for the welfare of his lord William, king of Scots, and for the welfare of his soul, and for the souls of his father Richard of London and his mother Matilda [de] Ferrers and others. He wills and establishes that the canons may hold and possess the said church with its adjacent land and all its rights freely and quietly.
