Description: John of Howburn has granted to St Mary and the church of Coldingham one acre of land in the plain of Coldingham that lies next to Harstaneshope and in Lintelandes, which Etheldreda, his granmother gave to the same church with her body, and one other acre which Ralph, his uncle, likewise with his body, gave to the said church, namely, three perches at Æbbeknoll ('Ebbecnol') and Milnerig and one perch above Halidunestele, in free alms.
