Description
David Hay, for the soul of King William, of pious memory, and for the soul of William Hay his father, and Eithne his spouse, and for the welfare of his soul and that of Eva (or Elena) his wife, and others, with the consent of his heir Gilbert, has given, granted, and made firm by this his charter, to Coupar Angus Abbey a net on the Tay between ‘Lornyn’ and the marches of Ranulf Hay(‘s land), and a hermitage that Gillemichael the late hermit held.
