Description
An inquest was made at Abercrombie by the Prior of Pittenweem, Sir Richard Chamberlain, knight, William, lord of Anstruther, and other free and legal men of the country, who said that William son of Richard of Abercrombie is the legitimate and nearest heir of Richard of Abercrombie for the land of Abercrombie (FIF), and is of lawful age, and that the land is worth 34 marks annually.
