These are the jurors of question of Darleith which Thomas son of Somerled was seised in Darleith (DNB) before the death of Earl M[aldoven], namely Murethach son of Gal’, Murethach son of the dean, ‘Evynus’ (Eogan? Owain?) son of Duncan, Gilbert son of Absalon, Malcolm Beg, Patrick son of Bridin, Maldoven son of ‘Judicantis’, Michael son of Edward, Duncan son of Gillecrist, Malmore son of Duncan, Duncanson of Michael, John son of Fearchar, [...] son of Selbe ?, Malcolm son of Gal’, Donald son of Alpin, ‘Annegucius de Auenros’, ‘Ferlicius son of Gilmoran’, Adam son of Edulf, ‘Evynus’ the younger, ‘Mel filius Murzav’. All these swore in the presence of the chamberlain at Dumbarton in a full court when the pleas of the justiciar were held, that they had knowledge of, and saw, when Somerled was released from Darleith and assigned that land and offered the sasine of the same land to Thomas his son in the presence of the earl.
