Description: Robert, son of Robert de Brus, lord of Annandale has granted, and by his present script established, to Guisborough Priory the churches of Annan, Lochmaben, Kirkpatrick-Fleming, with the chapel of Logan, the churches of Rainpatrick (Redkirk), Cummertrees and Gretna (DMF), with lands, teinds and possessions. He also grants and establishes the church of Hartlepool with the chapel of St Hilda of Hartlepool and the church of Stranton, to hold according to what is purported in the charters of his antecessors which he has, in free, quiet, pure and perpetual alms.
