Description
William, bishop of St Andrews, for Lindores Abbey; he makes known that Earl David, brother of William, king of Scots, founded an abbey at Lindores and granted it the church of Lindores (FIF) in free, pure and perpetual alms. The bishop, by his authority, gives, grants, and by his charter establishes, to the abbot and monks the church of Lindores and its parsonage.
