Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved bachelor William of Dissington, knight, the third part of half the barony of Ardross (FIF), namely the land called 'le Newstede', which was Andrew de Landelles', and which Andrew resigned to the king at Edinburgh on the 22 November AD 1366 in front of the nobles of the realm by staff and baton; holding by William and his heirs or assigns, in feu and heritage, in free barony, as the charter of William king of Scots, his predecessor, made for the predecessors of William of Dissington; making service owed and wont.
