- David, king of Scots, has inspected and truly understood a charter of his beloved relative William, earl of Ross, to his beloved and faithful John of Tarrell, as copied in full. [William, earl of Ross, lord of Skye, son and heir of the late Hugh, earl of Ross, gives his beloved relative John of Tarrell all his land of Inverbrekie (ROS).] The king confirms this to John, saving his service.
