- David, king of Scots, has inspected and truly understood a certain charter of Helen Maxwell, widow of the late Eustace Maxwell knight, finding it neither erased, cancelled nor damaged. [Charters of Helen, lady of the barony of Kellie in Fife, giving in her free widowhood to John Strang an annual rent of 4 marks from Easter Pitcorthie in the barony of Kellie (FIF).] The king approves, ratifies, and confirms this charter, saving his service.
