Description
David, king of Scots, has seen and diligently understood a certain charter of Katherine of Stirling, daughter and sole heir of the late Lord John of Stirling, knight, of Glenesk. [Charter of Katherine in her widowhood to Alexander Lindsay son of Lord David Lindsay knight of Crawford of all her lands, rents, possessions, etc., in the sheriffdoms of Inverness, Aberdeen, and Forfar, to be held by him and their joint heirs.] The king approves, ratifies, and confirms this charter, saving his service.
