Description
David, king of Scots, has inspected and truly understood letters of his lord father [Robert I] and has found them neither erased nor cancelled. [RRS, v, no. 71] The king approves and ratifies these letters and commands the sheriff and baillies of Stirling to secure the payments of £8 0s. 5d. and six calders of wheat and a teind of the rents of Airthrey (STL), according to the tenor of his father's letters.
