Description
Robert, king of Scots, has given Dunfermline abbey the land of Ferryfield beside Inverkeithing (FIF), which Geoffrey son of Gilbert held of the king and resigned in the presence of the magnates of the realm by staff and baton; holding in feu and heritage and in pure and perpetual alms, for service owed and wont in defence of the realm.
