Description
Robert, king of Scots, to his chamberlain of Scotland, noting that he has given the Friars Preachers of Ayr 20 pounds sterling for the support of their church and houses, paid annually from the rents of his mills and of his burgh of Ayr, on Pentecost and Martinmas my equal measure, commands and instructs his chamberlain to make these payments, and to allocate the funds in his accounts.
