Description
David, king of Scots, makes note that William, earl of Douglas, his relative, personally resigned in his presence to Mary Douglas, daughter and heir of the late William Douglas, knight, all his lands in the barony of Dalkeith (MLO) with any right he may have to it. And these letters patent have been made because James Douglas, knight, relative and heir of the said Mary requested it.
