- Robet, steward of Scotland, lieutenant of the most serene prince, Lord David, by the grace of God, illustrious king of Scots, to his baillies of Kinghorn: having seen evidence of Arbroath abbey that they were wont to receive annually on Pentecost, 4 marks sterling from the rents of the lord king of Kinghorn, by the concession of Lord Alexander, illustrious king of Scots, and similarly confirmed by King Robert I recently deceased, commanding that the payment be made.
