Description
David, king of Scots, following a final concord with Reginald son of Rory of the Isles, has given Reginald, for his homage and service, the islands of Uist, Barra, Eigg, Rhum (INV), and eight ouncelands in Garmoran, namely Moidart, Morar, Arisaig and Knoydart, in feu and heritage, for service whether on land or on sea owed and wont in the time of his father and his predecessors the kings of Scots, to be held as freely as any land held in the time of his father and his predecessors the kings of Scots.
