Laurence Travers, master (fl.1227-40)

Biography
Watt, Graduates, 328: Master Laurence appears witnessing acts in connection to Berwick, datable 1227 and 1233×39, and is described as vicar of Berwick. On the second occasion he is found witnessing with David de Bernham and thus may possibly be the same as Master L. Travers sent by Bishop-elect David as his proctor on 14-15 December 1239, and the Master Laurence Travers found in June 1240 at Oxford.
