- Description
- Robert, king of Scots, has inspected and, with competent deliberation, truly understood the donations and confirmations of Lord William, of venerable memory, late king of Scotland, of lands, churches, burgages, tofts and renders to the monastery of St Thomas the Martyr at Arbroath, in his charter quoted in full. The king approves, ratifies, and confirms for himself and his heirs in perpetuity to the said monks and monastery everything contained in the above charter (RRS, ii, no. 197; H1/6/173).
