Description
King Malcolm has given as an endowment to the church of St John the Baptist of Perth the whole teind of fish caught in the waters of 'Balmackennedi' (PER?) to 'Inuiramun' (mouth of River Almond, PER) in permanent alms.

Dating Notes
Bishop Arnold of St Andrews was consecrated by Bishop William of Moray as papal legate on 20 Nov. 1160. Abbot John of Kelso was elected on 29 Nov. 1160 and blessed on 6 Jan. 1161. Terminus ante quem is provided by the consecration of Bishop Gregory of Ross by Bishop Arnold as papal legate in 1161, and by the following. Bishop William of Moray died on 24 Jan. 1162. Isaac, prior of Scone, died in 1162. Bishop William witnessed two other charters of King Malcolm as papal legate: _RRS_, i, nos. 175 and 180. Note that Walter, prior of St Andrews was also apparently elected in 1160.
