Description
Alexander Comyn, earl of Buchan, constable of Scotland, gives notice that he is bound to Arbroath Abbey for one half mark of silver yearly in return for a certain piece of their land in their holding of Tarves (ABD), within his park of Kelly (ABD), paying the monks each year on Whitsun at Tarves, beginning on Whitsun, 1287, for the provision of two burning wax candles in front of the altar of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the monastery of Arbroath.
