- Bond by Roger of Kirkpatrick, knight, lord of ‘Haughencas’ to Sir Humphrey de Bohun, earl of Hereford and Essex, lord of Annandale, for £1000 sterling, lent this day in his necessity at Lochmaben castle, to be repaid there without failure at Martinmas next; with £10 per day of penalty, etc. from that day. Appends his seal at Lochmaben.
