- The king to A., bishop of Durham, and John of Brittany and William Latimer senior. The wife of William, son of Warin, and other friends of our prisoners, have asked us to liberate them from prison. Therefore, for the good service which the said William and Marmaduke de Twenge, and other prisoners detained in Scotland, showed us, they shall be released as follows, that is, William son of Warin [exchanged] for Henry Sinclair; Marmaduke de Twenge for John Mowbray; Robert Constable for Arthur of Dunoon; William son of Glay for John de Curry; John of Callendar for Reginald le Cheyne; William de Ros for William of Cathcart; Peter of Dunwich for a certain squire of Sir Arthur of Dunoon; Walter of Thornton for a certain squire of Sir W. of Cathcart; Stephen the Clerk for Gilbert MacKristi; Geoffrey of Middenhale for William of Angus.
