Description
Warrant for the men of Scarborough in their town farm, for £13 11s. 2d. allowed by the bailiffs to William Stote (Scott) of Dundonald, John of the Hull of Fauside, John Taylor of Gobysky, and Henry of Stirling, Scots in prison there, from 8 August 1304 till 16 August 1305 (on which day William Stote was beheaded), at 2d. per day each, and for £57 15s. allowed to the three survivors for 6 years and 191 days till 2 February last, at the rate of £9 2s. per year each.
