Description
The king to the abbess of Barking. Learning that Hugh Oliphant, a Scottish rebel, has escaped from Colchester castle, with William Sauvage, an approver, and taken refuge in her church of Barking, he commands that they be safely watched there and prevented escaping, on pain of forfeiture of her lands and goods.
