SURVEY OF BERWICK UPON TWEED: Street of HIDEGATE on the North Side, starting from the western head of the same towards the south: 1. Burgage plot formerly of Robert of Dunbar , with 5 cellars and solars above the (street) front, rented for 8 marks annually a. Robert Thorald received in feu. 3. Burgage plot formerly of Thomas of Scremerston , with a cellar and solar, rented for 15 s. annually a. Edmund the Furbur received in feu. 4.
