Description
The king writes to R[obert], bishop of Glasgow, noting that he has given his assent to the election made in the conventual church of Kelso of Brother Thomas of Durham, monk of the said abbey, as abbot of the said place and has taken the fealty of the said elect and restored the temporalities to him by his special grace.
