Description
Richard Fraser, knight, of the county of Stirling, since he has come to the faith and will of his lord, Edward, king of England etc., promises for himself and his heirs to serve him well and loyally; and he performs homage to his lord the king, and becomes his liege man of life and limb; the King, received the homage from the lands with which Richard was then seised, saving the king's right and that of others, and excepting the lands which John de Balliol, who was king of Scotland, gave him after King Edward had handed over to him the kingdom of Scotland, and excepting also the ones of which King Edward was seised before Richard had entered the king's peace; and Richard performs fealty to King Edward; and he has sealed these letters patent with his seal.
