William of Maule, lord of Panmure, wishes and grants a principal charter which Ralph of Dundee has concerning the lands Benvie and Balruddery (ANG) from the lady, his mother, with William’s assent, which [Ralph acquired] though the agreement he made with Ralph of Dundee concerning the said lands, and he states that he will not be able to go against the principal charter, or sentence carried out against him, unless [new] agreements made between them may have been carried out.
