William of Maule, lord of Panmure, states that he acquired from Ralph of Dundee and Roger of Pilmuir, in pledges and principal debts, seventeen sacks of wool which are to be rendered to Geoffrey, lord of Vennal, burgess of Dundee. He promises to render indemnity for each sack of wool which is to be released to Geoffrey by Ralph and Roger, and if William fails in any of the aforesaid, penalties are specified.
