William of Fenton, the knight, for the salvation of his soul, and for salvation of the soul of Sir John of Fenton, his father, and additionally, for the salvation of the souls of all his ancestors and successors, has given to the abbot and convent of Coupar Angus Abbey and their men free passage through his lands with their goods, without impediment, and in the lands of his heirs or assignees, by all the roads and paths by which his men, or the men of his heirs or assignees, traveled.
