Alexander son of the earl of Dunbar, states that he, [ ] by the hands of Sir Alexander de Balliol, chamberlain of Scotland, received eighteen marks of good legal sterling in 1288, from his feu from the chamber of king, from whom Alexander holds the peace. (incomplete)
