W[illiam] and R[obert], bishops of St Andrews and Glasgow, J[ohn Comyn] of Badenoch and J[ames] Stewart, Guardians of Scotland elected by the community, write to their sworn-man William Soulis, sheriff of Roxburgh, and his baillies of the same place, commanding him to cause Richard Knout, knight, to appear before them at Edinburgh on the Monday before mid-Lent, to answer to complaints that he had poinded various persons in England for agreements made in Scotland, against the customs of the March.
